Those who volunteer at Monument Impact find giving back to the community to be rewarding and fun. Many of our volunteers have gained valuable leadership skills and work experience that enriches their resumes.
Volunteer opportunities available in the following areas:
- Administrative Assistance: Create files and filing, make reminder phone calls for programs and events, answer phones (must be bilingual Spanish/English), assist with audit preparation.
- Programs: Teach ESL, help develop and disseminate program flyers and calendars, prepare surveys, provide data analysis, help staff pull reports from database (Salesforce), help translate material into Spanish.
- Fund Development: Provide data entry support (Salesforce), coordinate donor mailings, support events, send invitations, conduct follow-up calls, help secure sponsorships, write thank you letters, coordinate mailings, conduct research, help maintain grant files.
- Communications: Help update website (Word Press), take photos, assist with social media, write content and blogs, create flyers, and develop newsletters.
Volunteers are an extremely important part of Monument Impact and help meet our mission. Our programs would not be possible without the assistance of so many helping hands.
