For over 20 years, Monument Impact has supported families in Concord, Antioch, and across Contra Costa County. What began as the Michael Chavez Center then became Monument Community Partnership, and now as you see it Monument Impact, reflecting the organization’s continued growth and mission.
Rooted in the Monument Corridor, we provide in-house programs and work directly with residents through door-to-door outreach, workshops, and advocacy at city council meetings. From renter education and workforce support to health programs and advocacy for policy change, our mission is to help low-income and working families build stability, opportunity, and stronger community amongst one another.
Our mission is to serve as an advocate and resource in Contra Costa County that guides, educates, and connects low-wage families and communities.
Partnership – We collaborate with community members, organizations, foundations, donors, and local government to expand resources and services that strengthen our community.
Equity – We recognize that not everyone in the county has the same opportunity and economic status. We work to close that gap through specific programming and elevating community voices.
Community Trust – Trusted by the community we serve, we build meaningful relationships and meet people where they are — fostering a family-like atmosphere in our office and group spaces.
