Verónica Raxon Mayorga
Verónica Raxon Mayorga is originally from Guatemala, and currently lives in the Bay Area, California. She is married and a proud mother of two children. In Guatemala, she began her university studies in Computer Science and Business Administration before immigrating to the United States, a transition that led her to pause her degree and dedicate several years to raising her children while adjusting to a new culture.
During the pandemic, her professional path took a meaningful turn when her daughter’s school offered technology classes for parents. This experience reignited her interest in technology and highlighted the importance of updating her skills through structured training.
As a result, she found herself enrolling in technology courses with Monument Impact, where she not only grew her technology skills but also discovered a true passion for teaching. Through this journey, she was given the opportunity to volunteer, and eventually, join the team as a technology instructor.
Today, Verónica is passionate about supporting and empowering her community, especially adults seeking to use technology to improve their personal and professional lives. Her Christian faith plays a central role in her life and guides her values of service, empathy, responsibility, and commitment, which she brings into both her personal life and her work as a technology instructor.
