Volunteer

Here are just a few volunteer opportunities:

• Civic Participation/Voter Registration: Help register first time voters at local high schools and community colleges and support our canvassing to increase civic participation.
• Get Out the Vote: Support efforts to educate community members on important non-partisan ballot measures and promote the importance of voting.
• English as a Second Language (ESL): Help our Day Laborers or other community members learn English to improve their job opportunities. 
• Mock Interviews: If you are a professional with hiring experience, we could use your support in conducting mock interviews with our advanced technology students (Caminos)
• Technology Class Support: Assist students in our computer lab.
• Events:  Help secure sponsorships, raffle donations, flowers and more for our annual Gala.
• Seasonal Giveaways: Help out at Back to School, Thanksgiving and Christmas giveaways for children and families in our community.

Are you interested in Board service? Time and talent play an important role in building our Board of Directors and leadership committees and can help fill gaps in expertise. We are looking for people with experience in HR or labor law, fundraising, and policy, to name a few. Contact Regina Berny, regina@monumentimpact.org, if you are interested in Board service.
