Direct Service

Tenant Legal Clinics

Monument Impact co-hosts monthly Tenant Legal Clinics via Zoom for Central and East Contra Costa residents with Bay Area Legal Aid and East Bay Alliance for a Sustainable Economy (EBASE). In addition we work closely with Centro Legal de la Raza, referring members to their tenant legal services.  If you are an Antioch or Concord resident, please join us to learn more about your rights as a tenant.

For Antioch residents, please call 925-400-8924 to sign up and for Concord residents, please call 925-291-0176. The schedule for each city’s clinic can be found here.

Know Your Rights Trainings

Staff assist tenants with writing letters to their landlords and facilitating Know Your Tenants Rights trainings. They also have created Tenant Guides in Spanish and English to provide up to date information on local tenant protection ordinances, as well as any changes to State law impacting renters.

Keep Contra Costa Housed Program

Keep People Housed is a Contra Costa County Homelessness Prevention program. In partnership with BACS, and with the support of Bay Area Legal Aid and Centro Legal de la Raza as our legal partners, we offer a range of support services, such as emergency financial assistance, legal assistance, and application support. The goal for this program is to prevent homelessness before it even starts.

To apply for financial assistance directly on your own or review the guidelines for assistance, please visit ccc.keeppeoplehoused.org. Details on provided services, such as application assistance and legal advice, can be found on this flyer.

Please note:

  • For sheriff lockout emergencies, or any other questions, please contact us so we can directly help you. You can contact our Keep CCC Housed Program Coordinator, Brian Ibarra, at (925) 400- 7926. Community members can also call 211 and be referred to the program for assistance.
