Founded in 2001, Monument Impact’s Day Labor Center connects local homeowners and businesses with reliable workers for both skilled and general labor alike. For many members, the Center is more than a place to find work—it’s a family away from family. Here, workers teach one another, build lasting friendships, and create a strong sense of community while working toward shared career goals.
Through this community-driven model, we support the projects of hundreds of local homeowners and businesses while ensuring workers receive fair wages and dignified work for the day.
Day Labor members complete an interview and registration process to join, and many have built a long history of dependable service in our community. Our staff works closely with homeowners and businesses to match a worker with the right skills for each project, helping ensure a positive experience for everyone involved.
Why Hire Through the Day Labor Center?

General Labor: 4-hour minimum: $100 flat fee (additional hours: $25 per hour)
Skilled Labor: $30 per hour and up, depending on the skill and project
Examples: gutter cleaning, carpentry, moving labor, painting, hauling, sprinkler installation
Free estimates are available for housekeeping, painting, hauling, and sprinkler installation.
Starting April 01, 2026, a $25 travel fee will apply for locations beyond 25 miles to cover gas expenses.
