Cristina Guerrero

Cristina Guerrero is a proud Salvadorean who has been with Monument Impact for over nine years. She has been in her current role as Day Labor and Immigration Services Coordinator since 2017. For the Day Labor Program, Cristina has built hundreds of relationships with employers over the years and connects them to our day labor workers six days a week. She works closely with the Day Labor leadership team to coordinate diverse trainings ranging from carpentry and electrical to ESL and a study group for the driver’s license test.

Cristina also works closely with Jewish Family & Community Services – East Bay (JFCS) to conduct outreach and scheduling for immigration legal services such as U-Visas, Citizenship applications and more. She helps prepare community members for their appointments with a JFCS attorney or paralegal. As she puts it, “I love to be able to help the community in every way possible, and Monument Impact gives me the opportunity. You can see the relief in the faces of our community members when we get their problem solved or guide them to the right place for help.”
