Shagoofa Khan
As a young, half Afghan/half Pakistani first-generation American, Shagoofa deeply understands the importance of advocating for one’s beliefs, and that’s what she aims to accomplish within her community. “Working in my hometown of Antioch is a true privilege. Our community has a multitude of needs, and I eagerly embrace the opportunity to assist its residents every day.”
Shagoofa recently earned her bachelor’s degree in Sociology from UC Berkeley and is now pursuing a master’s degree in public administration. Her goal is to apply the knowledge she gains to further benefit the community.
On a lighter note, during her free time, Shagoofa enjoys riding her motorcycle and hitting the gym 5 to 6 days a week!
