Healthy Community Programs

Mentes Positivas en Acción (Mind Power in Action) is an 8-week program that teaches practical tools for emotional wellness — from managing stress and anxiety to finding calm and balance.

Created in 2014 to fill a major gap in well-being support for Spanish-speaking communities, MPA is led by continuously trained Promotores (community leaders) who have shared similar experiences and can also speak to these challenges in participants’ first language. The program is offered both in person and virtually throughout the year.

Monument Moves

Led by our dedicated Promotores, the Monument Moves program offers daily physical activity classes—including Zumba, Latin dance, and more. These group classes are open to all community members and provide a warm, welcoming space to exercise, build friendships, and connect with local resources. Our Promotores consistently host classes at Cambridge Park, Meadow Homes, Ellis Park, and Scott Valley Tribal.
