Tony Bravo
Tony Bravo has dedicated his work to advancing racial, migrant, and economic justice. He has led community-based, grassroots efforts and campaigns while ensuring that the leadership of system-impacted communities is built along the way. Tony is an undocumented immigrant from Guerrero, Mexico, who currently benefits from Deferred Action for Childhood Action for Childhood Arrivals (“DACA”).
As an immigrant who grew up in Brooklyn, New York, Tony developed his political education and leadership skills, while organizing against the criminalization of Black and Brown communities. Prior to joining Monument Impact, Tony was the former coordinator of the Contra Costa Immigrant Rights Alliance, a coalition dedicated to advocating for the advancement of immigrant rights and the decriminalization of communities of color. Tony has been with Monument Impact for 2.5 years. During his time off you can find Tony bike riding.
